Western Technical College offers many opportunities to participate in a variety of recreational activities which take place throughout the academic year

Western offers an array of recreational activites to allow for extracurricular activity participation on campus and in the students local community. Participating in recreational activities is a great way to meet new people, play the sports you love, or learn new activities. Getting involved in these offerings is a great form of recreation that promotes both social and physical well-being! Western's Recreation approach features six different programmatic pillars:

Western partners with the various community organizations to offer adult recreational leagues, helping to build a sense of belonging at Western and within the local community. In addition, Western offers additional recreational activities on campus and with other key partners in our community. Previous recreational offerings have included bowling, cornhole, basketball, volleyball, softball, Futsol, Flag Football, and many more!
