Distance Running

The Western Club Sports Running Team is a community of student runners who come together to train, improve their endurance, and enjoy the sport in a social setting. Members typically will practice at a variety of locations, such as local tracks, parks, trails, or roads, depending on the type of practice set forth by the Club Captain.

The Running Team is encouraged to participate in races and competitions, ranging from local 5Ks and half marathons to full marathons and relay events but are not expected to. Running clubs also host their own races and fun runs, creating a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork. Whether training for competition or simply running for fitness and enjoyment, The Western Club Sports Running Team offers a great way to stay active and connect with fellow student runners.
