Bio

Brent has been with Western since 1998 where he began teaching psychology before moving into his current roll in 2000 as a counselor working in the Student Service and Engagement department. Brent takes over as the head volleyball coach late in 2023. 

Brigson began coaching volleyball at the U14 level several years ago before moving into the head varsity coach at Bangor High school from 2019 through 2022. Brent has also spent time coaching a national team through Elevate Volleyball Club from 2019-2022. 

Brent has been married to his wife Dana sine 1991, they have three daughters and a new puppy named Theo. Over the years Brent has coached basketball, softball, and volleyball. In his free time Brent enjoys running including half marathons.
